Senior citizens across the U.S. are seeking coverage to aid in reducing their dental expenditures. Teeth, like bones, can soften as time passes and grow significantly more susceptible to degeneration and breakage. This can mean that seniors are often in need of more oral care than younger Americans, as they deal with broken teeth, loosened implants, gum problems, or other issues.
Our senior plans were crafted to meet all your needs.
Monthly fee + $100 lifetime deductible.
Staying healthy can help you stay younger longer, but it is important to stay knowledgeable about potential happenings so you can safeguard yourself against future problems.
For the most part, Medicare has never covered comprehensive dental benefits for seniors. Choosing not to purchase dental coverage can potentially result in large out-of-pocket expenses when a problem appears.
The age-old question, “what could happen to me,” typically tends to arise when discussing insurance and preventive care. Well, teeth are like bones and over time, they will start to decay.
As we age, we develop a new set of oral health needs. Purchasing a dental plan that can cover major services like crowns, root canals, implants, dentures, and bridges can save you hundreds in the long run.
Besides having the security of knowing you are covered for a major expense, how does your purchase help you now? Spirit Dental’s Senior plans cover three cleanings per year which will provide you with today’s standard of care. Each plan also offers guaranteed acceptance and allows you to select a personal dentist. With personalized care, your regular (covered) visits can help your dentist detect and evaluate any issue as it emerges--all while you’re secure in the knowledge that you’ve got the financial support to handle it.
Maintaining good oral health only helps in maintaining good overall health. You only have one vessel to get you through life, make sure you’re protecting it.
With our Senior dental insurance plans, you also get hearing coverage that can be used for hearing exams and hearing aids. With each benefit period your hearing exams are covered up to $75. The plan pays 50% of the hearing aid cost up to the maximum benefit. The maximum benefit is $200 on day 1, $300 after year 1, and $400 after year 2.
Five years after using your hearing aid benefit, you are re-eligible for the benefit at the top level. A reduced benefit is available after three years if your current hearing aids can no longer correct your hearing. All hearing benefits assume no break in coverage.
